First opened in 1927 to supply water to many towns and villages in the South Wales Valleys, Pontsticill Reservoir provides a stunning backdrop for avid walkers, cyclists, fishing enthusiasts and those looking for a quiet place to picnick. Located just a few minutes walk from our collection of properties, it’s the ideal place to tick off your site seeing list!

You’ll be spoilt for walk’s and hikes in the surrounding areas, but the famous Pen-Y-Fan mountain range sits just 15 minutes away from us by car, and is worth every step for the view from the top. With different route options for varying levels of fitness/experience, this is a must do activity during your stay.
